Grand Caymans (July 22-29, 2004)

On July 22, 2004, we'll leave from Rochester for a diving adventure in the Grand Caymans. We'll fly U.S. Airways to Charlotte/Philadelphia and transfer to a non-stop flight to Grand Caymans.

We'll be staying at the beautiful Cobalt Coast Resort on the beach.

Departure: From Rochester, July 22, 2004, with return on July 29, 2004.

Destination: Travel from Rochester to the Grand Caymans (with transfer in Charlotte).
Lodging: Cobalt Coast Resort / DiveTech
Free day on arrival and no diving 18 hrs. prior to departure (PADI guidelines).

Air Fare -

We'll make the travel arrangements for you or direct you to the best air fares. Special prices are sometimes available from U.S. Airways. You can also use your frequent flier miles for a free airline ticket. Our plan is flexible to meet your needs.

Dive Package:

$459 for 6 days of 2-tank dives (with dive boat to site, tanks, and weights). Unlimited complimentary shore diving, complimentary tank and weights on arrival day for check in shore dive, airport transfers.

Pre-travel briefing and pizza party: June 19, 6pm, location tba.
Optional pre-trip tune up (free for traveling divers): July 11th, 12 noon at the Webster Aquatic Center.

Individual Dive Options for greater flexibility:

$76.50 per day includes a 2-tank boat trip and complimentary shore
diving on same day as boat trip.

$35.00 per dive for a Guided shore dive for the children.

$50.00 for a 1-tank Stingray City afternoon boat trip - suitable for everyone, kids included (12 foot dive).

$45.00 for a Guided night dive including dive lights.

For shore diving on non-boat diving days, it's $7.50 a tank for air and $3.75 for weights for the day.

Room prices below include breakfast only (European Plan).
Full meals (American Plan) are available for an additional $330 per person.

All lodging costs are per person, based on the stated occupancy and does not include the dive package.
The table shows examples only and your final cost may depend on room availability.
# shows the number of persons occupying the room for the given rate.
Single supplement is $65./night for the double and $95./night for the suite.
Children under 12 stay free, but pay for optional meal plan (5-8 yrs. $35/day, 9-11 yrs. $45/day, 12+ yrs. $50/day).

Space and special air fares are limited in availability. It'll help us greatly if you can make your reservations as soon as possible. Costs are estimated based on current travel conditions and subject to change.

A 20% nonrefundable deposit is needed to reserve your space. A $1000 group payment is required 30 days in advance of trip. Cancellations within the last 2 weeks can move the deposit/payment to another date. There may be a cancellation fee if another interested party is not available to cover the actual incurred costs.
